Blue sea, blue sky, and a sparkling sun.
Enoshima is a small seaside island in Kanagawa, roughly an hour from central Tokyo by train, and a popular day-trip destination for visitors looking to explore somewhere outside central Tokyo.
I visited Enoshima Shrine on a clear summer day, with the sea and sky almost the same shade of blue and Mt. Fuji faintly visible in the distance.
While visiting Enoshima Shrine, I also enjoyed walking around the area and taking in the sea views.
And then I came across this little traveler — a tortoise out for a walk. Definitely the most unexpected encounter of the day 😄
